Located just steps from Wrigley Field LUCKY'S was established in 2004 to satisfy the cravings of a hungry population. A sandwich has been created that is not just a sandwich, but a meal in and of itself.  This "Overstuffed" sandwich is unlike anything seen before in these parts: a choice of cooked meats with melted cheese, sliced tomatoes, and steaming hot, fresh-cut french fries served on top, all sandwiched in between two thick slices of French bread along with one final ingredient - a uniquely flavored, seasoned cole slaw that so defies the common notion of cole slaw that it should probably have its own name.

“I wanted to bring a unique sandwich to Chicago that Wrigleyville can call its own,” said Mike Feczko, owner and manager of Lucky’s.  “Chicago may have its Italian beef, famous hot dog and deep dish pizza, but it has never seen a sandwich quite like this.”

Lucky’s Sandwich Company (a reference to “Lucky” Charlie Weeghman*, who built, in his words, the “edifice of beauty” now called Wrigley Field and brought the Cubs from the west side to play there) also offers a variety of appetizers, sides, and beverages in addition to sandwiches and will initially be BYOB. 

Lucky’s Sandwich Company is a member of the Illinois Restaurant Association and the Central Lakeview Chamber of Commerce. 
Its operating hours are 11 AM – 11 PM Sunday through Thursday and 11 AM – 3AM Friday and Saturday.
